Who we are
The Chartfield School Parents, Teachers and Friends Association (PTFA) is a voluntary organisation designed to help raise additional funds for various projects that solely, and directly, benefit the children of Chartfield School. The PTFA consists of the Committee, a group of parents and friends of the school led by an elected Chairperson, and members of the school staff.
The current Chairperson is Miss Katie Wolf.
The PTFA is registered with HM Revenue and Customs as a charitable organisation, which allows the collection of Gift Aid on donations and sponsored events, further boosting the funds available to us for use on different projects.
How we meet
The PTFA meets at school approximately once every half-term over coffee and cake to discuss upcoming events and the potential for fundraisers, and to put in place plans for our support. During each meeting, every voice, and every idea, matters.
Following the meeting, minutes are provided to members and published on the PTFA website, allowing other parents and friends of the school the opportunity to see what we intend to do over the coming half-term, and to understand the decision-making process that goes into each event.
