The stalls for the Christmas Fair were discussed and decided as follows:

- Craft (Christmas Decorations): Mrs Holland

- Children’s book stall: Miss Neale
- Soft toy stall: Miss Forsdike
- Pick A Square: Miss Shipley
- Second-hand Uniform Shop: Miss Havercroft
- Entrance: Mrs Horsley
- Smash the Crockery subject to weather on the day
Miss Shipley will supply the prizes for the Lucky Dip. Mrs Brown will provide a new box to replace the current one, and look for additional prizes for both the Lucky Dip and Pick A Straw. Festive punch balloons were suggested.
Miss Shipley will also put together the hamper prize, hopefully within the next week so as to entice people to buy raffle tickets. She will additionally find sweets as presents from Santa.
It was reported that Booty Jars are coming in fast, and that the raffle tickets are selling very well. Miss Shipley asked if people could buy their raffle tickets before the day of the Fair, and encourage others to do the same. She noted that if every raffle ticket was sold, this alone would raise £1000 for the PTFA.
Mrs Calcutt will buy books of raffle tickets for the Tombola and Booty Jars; she also confirmed that she had spoken to Santa, who is happy to attend. Santa has been asked to purchase a new suit for himself, which the PTFA will pay for.
The committee decided that the entrance charge, including a tea, coffee or juice, would be 50p for all.
Miss Shipley has purchased the vouchers to be used as prizes for Pick a Square, the number boards, etc. There are three vouchers; £25 each for Marks and Spencer, Smyths and Sainsbury’s.
Lastly, Mrs Brown asked that everyone bring their own float on the day of the Fair.
Christmas Shop: commencing Monday 21st November 2016
Mrs Brown has £100 left over from the proceeds of the Halloween Disco, which she will use to purchase the initial gifts. Mrs Komolangan has happily agreed to wrap the presents the children purchase at the shop again this year, and to provide her own wrapping paper.
Christmas Party: Friday 9th December 2016
Mrs Brown will purchase food for the Christmas Party. She will, however, require help cooking it. Mrs Milham volunteered to assist her.
Miss Hamlin has agreed to act as DJ for the party.
Any other business:
The Committee was asked for £1000 towards the assessment books for the school curriculum, which has proved to be very successful. The committee agreed.
It was asked whether a rota could be set up for the selling of boards and raffle tickets for the Christmas Fair. A note will be added to the school noticeboard asking for help. Mrs Milham agreed to help after school, Miss Neale in the morning, whilst Mr Wenn was also volunteered to help.
The next meeting was scheduled for Wednesday 30th November 2016, 7.30pm at school.
