Form II Residential
The PTFA were ask if they were happy to give a donation of £500 towards the Kingwood trip this year, as the residential is further away and the coach will cost more. The committee agreed that they were happy to do so.
Miss Shipley has asked Mr Horsley to stand down as Treasurer, as he lives a distance away. Mr Horsley agreed, but would like to continue to be part of the committee. Mrs Milham has volunteered to take over. Mrs Komolangan has forms to sign regarding the changeover and PTFA bank account.
Any other business
The Giving Machine has now raised approximately £450 for the PTFA. The PTFA website is almost ready to go, and just requires photographs and small biographies from the committee.
Miss Havercroft asked if the school would be celebrating the Queen’s 90th birthday. Miss Shipley informed her that a street party in the playground is planned. She may ask for help from the committee. Miss Havercroft also asked whether the school had to send home so much chocolate at Easter.
Second hand uniform – providing there is stock, will be sold at the Summer Fayre.
Will and Miss Shipley discussed whether the school could have newer photographs for the website. Miss Stacey will speak to Mr Brown about taking them.
It was asked whether when a circus comes to town, the school might get in touch regarding sessions at school with the children. It was agreed to look into this matter further.
The next meeting was scheduled for Wednesday 8th June 2016, 7.30pm at school.
